Creating art alongside a group of likeminded peers is a wonderful way to connect, learn, relax, push yourself and make lasting friendships along the way.My weekly group class is focused primarily on oil painting and is open to everyone from the complete beginner to intermediate and more experienced painters. Through a balance of guided group lessons and independent work time, students are exposed to varying levels of technique, from the foundational essentials to the experimental. Whether you’re learning for the first time or working to hone your existing skillset, this class is designed to help you achieve your goals. I regularly incorporate live demonstrations, slideshow presentations of historical and contemporary artists and their work, and group discussion/critique. Students can expect to learn not only from their instructor but also from each other. I look forward to this class every week and always leave feeling energized and inspired.
Oil Painting Group Class
Wednesday evenings 6:45pm-9:00pm in Brooklyn - close to the Morgan Ave. L and Myrtle Ave JMZ trains
$75 per session
Group classes are BYOC (bring your own canvas) for personal projects - otherwise all materials are included. I provide oil paints, mediums, brushes, palettes, easels, clean-up supplies and everything else you’ll need to paint.
